These rules allowed you to restrict a terms checkbox and create complex conditional logic tailored to your store’s needs. With version 1.1.0, we’re excited to introduce two new conditional rules:

• User Roles: Now you can set conditions to display a terms checkbox for specific user roles. This feature is perfect for stores that need to present different terms based on the user’s role, such as subscriber customers.
• Weekdays: You can now specify terms that apply only on certain days of the week. This is especially useful for stores running special promotions or policies on weekends.

Auto-Expanding Terms Content

We’ve added a new option to auto-expand terms content directly on the checkout page. By enabling the Auto Show Content option, the full terms and conditions will be displayed without requiring the customer to click a link to view them. This ensures customers have a reasonable opportunity to read the terms before making a purchase, thereby reducing the risk of disputes. It also eliminates the possibility of customers claiming they were unaware of the terms because they missed the link.

Line Break Support

This update also adds support for line breaks in the “Terms Text” label, allowing for better readability and organization of your terms and conditions.

Bug Fixes

Version 1.1.0 addresses several important bug fixes to enhance stability and compatibility:

Improved Escaping of Terms Page Content: We have improved the escaping of terms page content on the checkout shortcode to prevent potential formatting issues.

Compatibility with Elementor Widgets: Fixed a compatibility issue that occurred when the terms page was created using Elementor widgets.
