Vacation Notice
This document explains how to create and manage vacation notices.
Woo Store Vacation
Unlimited vacation dates and timesVacation notice will display on your shop and single product page(s), letting your customers know you are on vacation and your store is temporarily closed.
Create Vacation Notice
You can create unlimited customized notices and have a different announcement assigned to your each vacation schedule.

- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Store Vacation.
- Go to the Notice section within the current tab.
- Click on the Add new button.
- Enter a friendly Name for your notice.
- Enter your vacation Message.
- Select a Notice type.
- Click on the Save changes button.
Edit Notice
When you create a notice, you can come back and edit your notice details.

- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Store Vacation → Notice.
- Hover over the notice and select Edit.
- Update field values as you wish.
- Click on the Save changes button.
Add Button to Notice
You can have a call to action button next to your message to direct your buyers to do something specific, like visit your contact page.

- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Store Vacation → Notice.
- Hover over the notice and select Edit.
- Enter a Button text.
- Enter a Button URL.
- Click on the Save changes button.
Change Notice Color
The notice type option will help you define your notice’s context in accordance with WooCommerce’s built-in notice types. By default, WooCommerce defines its notices in several categories:
- Info: A generic notice type that is often used for informational purposes, such as announcements or user guides.
- Success: This notice would often indicate a success message. i.e., after adding an item to the cart or getting a shipping quote.
- Error: This notice mostly gets triggered when something goes wrong, either on the user side fault or code.
Commonly, most themes would apply custom styles to these notice variations in their own unique way to make them visually appealing and compatible with their styling hierarchy.
You can override the color scheme of these notices using the color picker controls provided on the edit page.

- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Store Vacation → Notice.
- Hover over the notice and select Edit.
- Define a Text color using the color picker.
- Define a Background color using the color picker.
- Click on the Save changes button.
Remove Vacation Notice
You can remove and delete a notice at any moment.

- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Store Vacation → Notice.
- Hover over the notice and click Delete permanently.
- On the message, click the Ok button and confirm to remove your vacation notice.
Additionally, you can bulk delete multiple notices at the same time.
- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Store Vacation → Notice.
- Select several notices using the checkboxes on the left.
- Then go to the Bulk actions list, select Delete permanently option.
- Click on the Apply button.
Customize Notice Table

Using the Screen Options pull-down at the top right of the screen, you can toggle the visibility of each column displayed on the Notice table.
Notice Block
By default, the vacation notification message displays in your shop and single product page(s). However, you can add the vacation notice on any specific page or post you wish by interesting the Store Vacation Notice block to the page content.

- Navigate to Pages → All Pages.
- Hover over the page and select Edit.
- Click on the block inserter button (+) at the top left of the screen.
- Search for the Store Vacation Notice block.
- Insert the block to page content.
- Click on the Update button.
The notice displays automatically on the page view whenever you have an active vacation mode with a defined notice.
Notice Shortcode

The [wsvpro_notice]
shortcode allows you to display the vacation notification on pages and posts at the scheduled times.
