Schedule Vacation
This document explains how to schedule your holiday and turn on vacation mode.
Woo Store Vacation
Unlimited vacation dates and timesClose your store temporarily by scheduling your vacation time. During the expected time, while your shop is online and accessible to visitors, your store will pause new order operations, and your checkout will be disabled.
Create a Schedule
You can schedule unlimited vacation date-times, and your shop automatically closes when any duration matches your site’s date time.

- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Store Vacation.
- Go to the Schedule section within the current tab.
- Click on the Add new button.
- Enter a friendly Name for your schedule plan.
- Select a date and time using the From field. The vacation mode will start from this field’s selected date and time.
- Select a date and time using the To field. The vacation mode will end, and your shop will reopen at this field’s selected date and time.
- The “No notice to display” option is selected by default for the Notice field. If you want to display an announcement during vacation mode, select a notice (click here to learn more about vacation notice).
- Woo Store Vacation uses your current timezone setting for scheduling. You can change your timezone from your WordPress setting.
- Click on the Save changes button.
Update Timezone
You can change your site time and date if you want to schedule your time based on a different timezone.

- Navigate to Settings → General.
- Select your Timezone.
- Click on the Save changes button.
Schedule Table
After you add a new schedule, your schedule table will fill up. You can overview the list of your scheduled vacations in a table on the schedule page.
The schedule table displays some information about your planned vacations.

- Name - Displays the name of your schedule. If you don’t add a specific name while creating a schedule, your created date will automatically be used for the schedule name.
- From - Displays the start date and time of a vacation, and your shop will close at this time.
- To - Displays the end date and time of a vacation, and your shop will reopen at this time.
- Notice - This column lets you know whether you have assigned a notice to announce your vacation to your visitors.
- The checkmark icon means you selected a notice to display during vacation.
- The cross icon means you select not to display any notice during vacation.
- Date - Displays the last date that the schedule is modified.
Edit Schedule
After you create a schedule, you can edit its details to apply new changes.

- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Store Vacation → Schedule.
- Hover over the schedule and select Edit.
- Apply your new changes as you wish.
- Click on the Save changes button.
Remove Schedule
You can remove and delete a schedule at any moment.

- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Store Vacation → Schedule.
- Hover over the schedule and click Delete permanently.
- On the message, click the Ok button and confirm to remove your schedule.
Additionally, you can bulk delete multiple schedule at the same time.
- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Store Vacation → Schedule.
- Select several schedules using the checkboxes on the left.
- Then go to the Bulk actions list, select Delete permanently option.
- Click on the Apply button.
Sorting Schedules
You can reorder schedules via drag and drop.

- Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Store Vacation → Schedule.
- Hover over the schedule and grab the row.
- Hold the schedule and drag it up and down and change the order.
- Drop the schedule at a new position.
Find Active Schedules

Vacation schedules that are currently affecting your shop will be listed under a new filter link, Active, allowing you to narrow down which schedules are currently in-progress on your shop.
Customize Schedule Table

Using the Screen Options pull-down at the top right of the screen, you can toggle the visibility of each column displayed on the Schedule table.
